FOIA Horse is a news organization, a consulting firm, and an investigative body. It exists to hold governments and those in power accountable. FOIA Horse’s work can be broken into four general categories: Transparency, Accountability, Research, and Investigations.
By obtaining public records, FOIA Horse reveals the inner workings and communications of governments at every level, from how local police departments and city councils talk about rallies and protests to how federal executive agencies surveil crowds and conferences.

By making governments transparent, FOIA Horse helps communities hold governments accountable.
Legal and factual research is difficult and time-consuming, especially when you want to jump right into the fun, juicy parts of your project. As a Magna cum Laude graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law, I am quick and forceful with legal research. I take legal issues, distill the meaningful questions and points, and quickly produce legal memoranda or ready-to-submit motions for attorneys.
I provide investigatory services for criminal defense attorneys. I find people and evidence that the prosecution doesn’t know about or doesn’t want the defense to know about. This includes on-the-ground research, pre-emptive research, jury profiling, witness location, and more.
I am also available for other types of investigations, including fact-checking and physical penetration testing.
